Client: Qatar Museum Authority
Type: Exhibition concept, design and production
The Qatar Museum Authority ran an exhibition series to coincide with the 15th Asian Games of 2006. In concert with our exhibition partners, we provided end-to-end conceptualization and design, planning and installation services.
The first of the two exhibitions was a fossils exhibition entitled “LOST WORLD RETURNS”.
For Lost World Returns an exhibition logo was designed that envisaged and communicated the exhibitions intent and content. Other graphics included Bilingual Arabic-English information panels accompanying each exhibit, and suspended banners to help inform and direct visitors to the exhibition.
A 100-page hard-cover commemorative book was designed to highlight and catalogue the exhibition. We proposed a combined bilingual book, taking advantage of the reading direction of English and Arabic text to produce a cost-efficient solution of an integrated double book in a single volume. Other items provided to the client included premium gift items for the exhibition and an exhibition video.
